It’s a similar story for Sunrisers. They also sit outside the top four and will be desperate to cut the gap to those above them.

Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad – Match Preview

The overall head-to-head record between RR and SRH is pretty even, with Sunrisers edging it 4-3 from the last seven matches.

However, Rajasthan have won the previous two clashes, including the first meeting between these two in this year’s tournament.

Where: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

When: Thursday, 22 October 2020

Start time: 14:00 GMT (19:30 IST)

Pitch conditions: The pitch in Dubai seems to be quite fair for both bat and ball after settling down since the early matches of the IPL. Patience seems to be key for batsmen who find it harder to dominate right from the off. The pitch is slower now and lower totals can be expected.

Weather conditions: There doesn’t seem to be much change as far as the weather goes this IPL. More clear skies and hot weather is forecast for this one.

Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad – Latest Odds

This is shaping up to be another close contest between two sides battling to make the top four.

They are both priced at 1.91 with bet365 to get the win.

Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad – Team News

Rajasthan have opened the batting with Robin Uthappa in the last two matches and dropped Jos Buttler down the order.

It means Stokes and Uthappa have been paired at the top with Sanju Samson and Steve Smith ahead of Buttler. They could choose to stick with that plan after the win over CSK but must also be tempted to get Buttler in sooner.

Jofra Archer has been in fine form and has been well supported in recent matches by Kartik Tyagi, Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal, who have all been among the wickets.

It all means that besides a shift in the order, changes for Rajasthan are unlikely.

For Sunrisers, are without Mitchell Marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. They have both been ruled out for the rest of this tournament.

An interesting move in their last match against KKR saw Kane Williamson pushed up to open alongside Jonny Bairstow. That move came despite the success Bairstow and Warner have enjoyed as an opening duo.

Manish Pandey was also moved from three to five in the reshuffle without success. They could look to revert back to their tried and trusted approach for this.

Khaleel Ahmed missed the last match against KKR despite two wickets against CSK. He could return for this.

They also have the likes of Jason Holder, Mohammad Nabi and Fabian Allen to turn to should the need to freshen things up.

Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad – Betting Tips and Prediction

Rajasthan Royals look to be finding their rhythm the closer we get to the end of the group stages. There was a lot to like about their success over CSK last time and they look the team to back for this.

Ben Stokes and particularly Jos Buttler look ready to do some more damage. The Rajasthan bowling attack is also as settled as it has been all IPL 2020.

Their price of 1.91 with bet365 looks like a good bet in the overall winner market.

Uthappa is Value in Top Batsman Market

Robin Uthappa looks a good value bet in the top Rajasthan batsman market, especially if he continues at the top of the order.

He failed to fire last time but he really enjoyed opening in Dubai against RCB. He hit 41 that day to back up the 32 he got against Delhi in Dubai three matches back. A return to this ground could bring out the best in him.

He can be backed at 4.5 with 22Bet to be his team’s top run-scorer and outshine the likes of Stokes, Buttler and Smith.

Natarajan to Star with the Ball for SRH

T Natarajan has been among the wickets recently and can continue that here.

He took two against CSK and another two against KKR despite being quite expensive. The fact batsmen look to take him on is a plus for this bet.

He has also had success at the ground and his left-arm bowling and ability to take pace off could be a real plus once again.

His price of 4.5 with Leovegas to be Hyderabad’s top bowler is far too big.
