Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi Match Preview – Betting Tips, Latest Odds, Team News and Predictions – 26/02/2020
Multan and Peshawar head into this clash after a mixed start to the new PSL campaign. Both teams have picked up one win and one loss from their opening two games.
Sultans got off the best possible start by putting Lahore to the sword last week but failed to back that up against Islamabad. They will be determined to give their fans a first win as the Multan Cricket Stadium hosts its first PSL fixture.
Zalmi, meanwhile, were defeated at the hands of Karachi in their opening fixture but bounced back well to pick up an important win over Quetta a day later.
Despite the tournament still in its early stages, a win for either side could be a big step towards qualification to the knockout phases.

Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi – Latest Odds
It is Zalmi who are made the slight favourites for this one on the back of their win over Quetta. They can be backed at 1.73 (8/11) with bet365 to make it back-to-back victories.
Home side Multan are available at 2.10 (11/10) to get back to winning ways.

Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi – Team News
Multan could look to switch things up a little after they were handed an eight-wicket loss to Islamabad in the last game. It was their toothless bowling attack that will come under the most scrutiny on the back of that defeat.
It could mean that they now turn to the experience of Ravi Bopara and Wayne Madsen after the duo were not selected for the opening two clashes. West Indian Fabien Allen isn’t available until March 7.
Zalmi will be in high spirits after their first success and it is unlikely they’ll look to make too many changes on the back of that. Once more, Tom Banton and Kamran Akmal are set to continue at the top of the order. All-rounder Keiron Pollard is also still unavailable.

Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi – Betting Tips and Prediction
This is an intriguing clash against two sides with a similar record so far this season.
Peshawar will be buoyed by their first win of the season and in Akmal have a batsman in fine form, even if those around have yet to really fire.
However, at the prices, it might be worth keeping faith with Andy Flower’s Sultans (2.10) in this one. There were plenty of positives from their opening win over Lahore and they will be keen to hit back. Playing at their home ground for the first time could also boost their chances.
Multan’s skipper to step up
Multan captain Shan Masood has started brightly this season without being able to go on and get a significant score.
It could be worth siding with him to do that in front of his home fans in this contest. There was a lot to like about his 38 against Lahore and he followed that with 21 in defeat to Islamabad.
There are other dangermen to look our for in the top batsman market. James Vince looks to have found his feet with 42 in the previous clash and Rilee Rossouw is a proven performer on this stage.
That said, Masood’s price of 4.50 (7/2) with bet365 is too big and is worth considering when looking for a value bet in this match-up.
Ilyas to impress for the home side
Muhammad Ilyas has been bowling really well for Multan and his ability to build pressure will be key here. He claimed the wicket of Luke Ronchi in the last game and bagged two wickets against Lahore.
He could finally get the rewards for his economical spells when Peshawar visit. He is priced at 5.00 (4/1) to be Multan’s top wicket-taker.
Best Bet: Multan to get the win at 2.10 (11/10) with bet365
