Kolkata Knight Riders v Mumbai Indians – Team News

  • Quinton de Kock – The South African wicketkeeper-batsman is available for selection for this match. He missed the IPL opener due to quarantine restrictions.
  • Piyush Chawla – The leg-spinner, who is among the leading wicket-takers in the history of the tournament, also didn’t play in the first game but could be an option at spin-friendly Chennai.
  • Rohit Sharma – Mumbai opener Rohit has been in fine form on the international stage but was dismissed cheaply in the first match. A reunion with de Kock could bring out the best in him again.
  • Nitish Rana – The talented batsman opened for KKR in their first clash and smashed a superb 80. He will be keen to add more runs against the defending champions.
  • Shakib Al Hasan – The all-rounder could have another key role to play for Kolkata. He claimed the key wicket of Wriddhiman Saha in the first game and can build on that now.

Kolkata Knight Riders v Mumbai Indians – Betting Tips and Prediction

We’ve got some great IPL betting tips for you. They include some generous odds. Consider these predictions before placing your bets.

Russell to Struggle Again

Andre Russell failed to hit the heights of 2019 in the previous tournament and looks to be forcing it a little already.

He failed with the bat in the last game when it was set up for some trademark big-hitting. The West Indian did take a wicket but still looks under pressure.

Backing him to get under 37.5 player performance points with bet365 is a good bet at 1.83.

Remember, one wicket gives him 20 points, he gets one for each run and 10 for a catch in the field.

Yadav is a Value Play

Suryakumar Yadav had a brilliant IPL 2020 as Mumbai secured another title. He was key batting at three and has since earned an opportunity with India.

Backing him for top Mumbai batsman looks a value bet in this fixture, especially if one of the openers was to fall early.

The return of Quinton de Kock gives the Mumbai selectors some big decisions to make and could lead to some disruption at the top.

He is priced at 4.0 with bet365 to be his team’s top run-scorer.

Boult for Top Bowler

Trent Boult bowled well without being rewarded with wickets in the first fixture. He did bag one but saw another put down by skipper Rohit Sharma.

He can put that right here and it would be no surprise to see him strike early again.

The New Zealander has been in superb form for his country leading into this tournament and looks full of confidence.

His price of 3.5 with 22Bet to be Mumbai’s top bowler looks appealing.
