Betting on Middlesex
Middlesex have won England’s domestic T20 competition on one occasion so far. They lifted the trophy back in 2008 when the tournament was still known as the T20 Cup. The team, part of Middlesex County Cricket Club, used to be known as the Crusaders and then the Panthers in the limited-over format but are now simply Middlesex in the T20 Blast. They play most home games at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
That 2008 final win over Kent at the Rose Bowl was a first major title for the club in 15 years but they have not followed that up or even reached the final since. That recent lack of success has to be considered when looking to bet on Middlesex in the T20 Blast. However, they are captained in the Blast by England’s limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan and will be looking to build on their quarter-final exit in 2019. New arrivals in the form of Australians Mitchell Marsh and Peter Handscomb give them an outside chance.
