Middlesex have relied on domestic cricketers to lead their development in recent season but have enjoyed notable appearances from some great overseas cricketers.

Tyron Henderson

The South African has a place in both Middlesex’s batting and bowling top 10s and was part of the team that won the club’s only T20 title in 2008. His ruthless batting saw him smash 59 in the semi-final before a 33-ball 33 in the final helped Middlesex to glory. His skill with both bat and ball in London saw him signed by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL a year later.

Scott Styris

New Zealand all-rounder Styris only appeared spend two seasons at Middlesex between 2005 and 2006 but is their 17^th highest T20 run-scorer with 425 runs. He also deputised as captain during his spell. He followed that with stints in the IPL with the Deccan Chargers and Chennai Super Kings.

Murali Karthik

India bowler Murali Karthik was another member of the 2008 title-winning team. He sits just outside the Middlesex top 10 wicket-takers in 12^th place with 26 wickets in 23 innings between 2007 and 2009.

Adam Voges
