• Alex Carey – The wicketkeeper-batsman has enjoyed a fine BBL so far. He is right up there with the top run-scorers after his brilliant century in the previous game.
• Jake Weatherald – He is the Strikers’ second-highest run-scorer but the top-order batsman will be keen to finally kick on and turn starts into a big score.
• Wes Agar – The 23-year-old has 21 wickets in 12 BBL matches this term and comes here in fine form after bagging four more in the previous outing.
• Alex Hales – This year’s leading run-scorer showed all his ability when blasting a 56-ball 110 against the Sixers in the last game.
• Callum Ferguson – The experienced batsman has been able to support Hales well and has been key to how the Thunder have done this campaign.
• Tanveer Sangha – The leg-break bowler is another who has shone this BBL. The youngster rarely draws a blank and has been rewarded with 20 wickets in 12 matches so far.

This is a key clash for both teams and their hopes of play-off qualification.

Strikers are very capable on their day but inconsistency has been a big issue throughout the competition.

The Thunder started well, dropped off a little, but now look to have found their stride again.

The form of Alex Hales at the top of the order and the support he has got from Usman Khawaja, Callum Ferguson and Sam Billings gives them the foundation for more wins.

How that top-order copes with Siddle and Agar could go a long way to deciding this one.
