Mumbai Indians v Royal Challengers Bangalore – Team News

Mumbai will be hoping captain Rohit Sharma is fit to face Bangalore. He has missed the last two games through injury.

That has meant that Ishan Kishan has been pushed up to open alongside Quinton de Kock with Kieron Pollard skippering the side.

Besides injury absences, Mumbai have used a very settled side so far this tournament. Changes to the line-up have been few and far between.

The only decision in the bowling attack looks to be between Nathan Coulter-Nile and James Pattinson.

For RCB, they will need to look at their bowling attack once again after a stuttering display in defeat to Chennai.

Moeen Ali came in against CSK but again failed to fire. Another option for captain Kohli is Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa.

That said, now they are away from the slower pitch in Dubai they will be hoping for more from Mohammed Siraj and Navdeep Saini. They will hope Saini recovers from a hand injury he picked up at the end of the CSK clash.

They may well be content with the spin options of Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar for this.

On the batting front, Aaron Finch is desperate for a big score. RCB could be tempted to look at Josh Philippe but are likely to stick with the Aussie white-ball skipper.

Mumbai Indians v Royal Challengers Bangalore – Betting Tips and Prediction

Mumbai are the worthy favourites for this one despite their defeat against the Ben Stokes-inspired Rajasthan Royals.

RCB have let inconsistency slip into their game of late but will be heartened by the return to Abu Dhabi after their demolition of KKR here two games ago.

Don’t forget that searching other markets can be a great way of finding value betting options.

Back Mumbai’s Openers to Shine

Mumbai may be without Rohit Sharma recently but that has only handed de Kock and Kishan the chance to step up.

They both look in decent form, especially the way they dealt with CSK two games ago.

They look a solid pick to perform better than their RCB counterparts of Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal. Padikkal has really kicked on this tournament but Australian Finch is short of form.

Mumbai can be backed at 1.83 with 10CRIC to have the highest opening partnership. It is a bet that will look even stronger should Rohit Sharma return from injury.

Siraj to Enjoy Abu Dhabi Return

Mohammed Siraj put in a brilliant display when last in Abu Dhabi. He took record figures of three wickets for just eight runs against Kolkata.

His fuller length on this surface caused plenty of issues for the opposition batsmen and it would be no surprise to see him having joy again.

He is also a value selection at 5.5 with bet365 to be RCB’s top bowler.

Quinton de Kock to Hit Back

de Kock suffered a rare failure with the bat in the defeat to Rajasthan. He fell for just six runs as Mumbai eventually suffered their fourth loss.

However, before that, he’s smashed a half-century against KXIP and 46 in a comfortable run-chase against CSK.

It could be worth sticking with him in this fixture. His price of 3.25 with 10CRIC to be MI’s top batsman still looks a tempting price.
