Mumbai v Delhi – Betting Tips and Prediction
This year’s Indian Premier League comes to a close with the top two sides from the group phase battling it out for the title.
Mumbai are rightly the favourites to land a fifth trophy after an impressive and consistent tournament. They have also dominated Delhi and it is hard to look past them in the final.
There are also a host of other markets to look at ahead of this much-anticipated clash.
De Kock to Beat Rohit to 10 Runs
We like the look of this bet from 22Bet. Backing Quinton de Kock to get to 10 runs before fellow opener Rohit Sharma is appealing.
Rohit has been injured and struggled for form upon his return to the side. He has made 0 and 4 in his last two matches.
De Kock, meanwhile, has been in fine form and looks set to continue with his positive approach in the final.
He can be backed at 1.91 to get to 10 runs ahead of his captain.
Dhawan to Lead the Fight for Delhi
Shikhar Dhawan’s impressive 78 in the Qualifier 2 clash with SRH proved the Indian batsman is in good nick. He had failed in Qualifier 1 against MI but bagged another half-century before that against RCB in the final group game.
He sits in second place in the top run-scorer charts and will have to fire if Delhi are going to upset the defending champions.
His price of 3.38 with 22Bet looks a fair one, especially given the inconsistency of those around him at times.
Yadav to Cap an Impressive Tournament.
Suryakumar Yadav has enjoyed a brilliant IPL 2020 and has pushed himself closer to India recognition. That will have to wait after he missed the squad for the Australia tour, but he is right in the mix.
He hit another well-measured 51 against Delhi in Qualifier 1 in Dubai. He now has 461 runs to his name this tournament at an average of 41.90. That half-century in the last game was his four 50-plus score.
While he has tough competition in de Kock and Ishan Kishan, his price of 3.98 with 1xBet looks good value.
