Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi Preview – Betting Tips, Latest Odds, Team News and Predictions – 10/03/2020
Lahore are hoping to keep their Pakistan Super League play-off hopes alive when they welcome second-placed Peshawar Zalmi to the Gaddafi Stadium.
Qalandars have been inconsistent this season but head into the game on the back of an eight-wicket win over Karachi Kings. That came with the help of a fine 99 from the in-form Ben Dunk.
Zalmi will also be looking to take a big stride towards the next phase of the tournament with an away victory. They picked up more points when beating Islamabad United after a rain-interrupted clash last weekend and will look to make it three successive wins for them.
Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi – Match Preview
Where: Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
When: Tuesday 10th March
Start Time: 19:30 (IST), 14:00 (GMT)
Pitch conditions: The Gaddafi Stadium has looked a good batting track so far this season and should again play that way here. It is also a decent pitch for chasing and expect whoever wins the toss to field first. Spin could be the more affective approach with the ball.
Weather conditions: The weather is expected to be sunny for this one. Temperatures are likely to hover around the 20c point for most of the day.
Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi – Latest Odds
Peshawar Zalmi are considered the slight favourites to win this one. They are priced up at 1.80 (4/5) with Betway for the win.
Hosts Lahore can be backed at 1.91 (10/11) with Betway to take another stride in their late play-off push.
Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi – Team News
The Qalandars will again look to Ben Dunk and Sohail Akthar to lead them into this battle. Both men made vital contributions last time. That could also mean the home side are reluctant to make too many changes to their line-up. Chris Lynn could also return after missing the win over the Kings.
It has been their bowling attack that has been lacking at times this campaign but there should be another chance for rookie Maaz Khan to impress once more.
Peshawar are likely to stick with the same side for this contest, especially after recent back-to-back wins.
The likes of Tom Banton, Liam Livingston and Imam-ul-Haq will be looking to add more consistency with the bat. Wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal did well last time out and should also have a key role to play. They have been dealt a blow with the news that West Indies star Kieron Pollard won’t play for them due to injury.

Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi – Betting Tips and Prediction
Here we will highlight some of the best bets on offer for what promises to be another close PSL clash.
Predictions, free cricket tips and the latest PSL odds should be able to guide you in the right direction when betting on the match.
This looks a close-run contest but we predict Peshawar should prove too strong, especially with their strong batting line-up. They are the team to be on when looking to place a bet on the outright winner.
There are a host of other markets on offer for this contest when looking for value bets. Top batsman, top bowler, highest opening partnership and most sixes are all available.
Banton back on form
Tom Banton has been slightly inconsistent at times this PSL season but looks to be finding his feet once more.
A solid 39 against Quetta was followed with a quick-fire 20 in the shortened clash with Islamabad. He looks ready for another big score and may well get more time at the crease should out-0f-form opener Imam fail to fire again.
He can be backed at 4.25 (13/4) with Betway to be Zalmi’s top batsman. He is also available at 9.00 (8/1) to be named man of the match.
Wahab to be Zalmi’s main man with the ball
Wahab Riaz has bowled well in recent games for Peshawar and can be rewarded with wickets here.
He may have been expensive for his one wicket against Islamabad but he took 3-21 before that against Quetta. That bodes well for him here. He can be backed at 3.75 (11/4) with Betway to be Zalmi’s top wicket-taker.
Best Bet: Tom Banton to top score for Peshawar Zalmi at 4.25 (13/4) with Betway
