The St Lucia Zouks won the last two matches between these sides during the 2019 competition. A five-wicket win in Kingston was followed with a four-wicket success at Gros Islet.
The Zouks will be keen to add to those wins in this year’s tournament and the recent head-to-head form should be considered when betting on this match.

Jamaica Tallawahs v St Lucia Zouks – Latest Odds

Jamaica Tallawahs v St Lucia Zouks – Team News
The Tallawahs have brought in Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane to boost their bowling attack ahead of CPL 2020.
They will mainly look to their Caribbean stars to help them shine in this edition of the competition.
Andre Russell, Jermaine Blackwood, Oshane Thomas and Carlos Brathwaite will all have big roles to play once more.
They will again be led by all-rounder Ravman Powell and have exciting New Zealand batsman Glenn Phillips also in their ranks after he top-scored for them last campaign.
St Lucia had added Rilee Rossouw and Anrich Nortje, but they are no longer available due to coronavirus travel restrictions. Colin Ingram was retained by the franchise, but is also unavailable because of the same issue.
That now puts added pressure on those left in the squad. Jonathan Wells could be a shrewd addition. He was added along with Scott Kuggeleijn and Najibullah Zadran to replace those who couldn’t travel.
Mohammad Nabi and young pace prospect Chemar Holder have also been drafted, but that still leaves the Zouks a little light in the batting department. They may require an inspired showing from Roston Chase to give them a chance.

Jamaica Tallawahs v St Lucia Zouks – Betting Tips and Prediction
Despite St Lucia’s recent good form against the Tallawahs, it looks like they are facing a tough first game.
Jamaica look like they could have far too much firepower on show and could be a decent bet at 1.57 with bet365.
However, there are plenty of other markets to be interested in for this one.
Phillips to Fire Again
Young New Zealand batting prospect Glenn Phillips enjoyed himself in last year’s tournament.
He was the fourth-highest run-scorer in 2019 with 374 in his 10 matches. The 23-year-old can build on that again and will see no better opportunity than against the CPL outsiders.
He is priced at 3.00 (2/1) to be Jamaica’s top batsman with 10CRIC.
Chemar Holder to Shine
Young pace bowler Chemar Holder enjoyed a fine four-day domestic season in the West Indies and earned his place on the Test tour of England.
He can maintain his rise back on home soil in the CPL. While he is short of T20 experience, his raw pace can be a big weapon.
His price of 6.50 with bet365 to be St Lucia’s top bowler looks far too big.
Tallawahs to Enjoy Highest Opening Partnership
Given the added batting strength of the Tallawahs compared to the Zouks, it could be worth looking at the highest opening partnership market.
If Phillips can fire with the bat once more, then this bet could be another added bonus.
While Chris Gayle is no longer with the franchise, Chadwick Walton is likely to be pushed up from three to join Phillips. The duo batted together at times last season and that should help the transition.
The Tallawahs are 1.80 with LeoVegas to have the highest opening partnership.
