Afghanistan v Zimbabwe 2nd Test – Betting Tips and Predictions
This looks like being another close battle if the first Test is anything to go by.
Afghanistan will surely hit back after the last defeat but the confidence Zimbabwe have gained could also make them a tougher task with the series win up for grabs.
Back Zadran to Continue Form
Ibrahim Zadran did better with the bat in hand than anyone for Afghanistan in the last match and he looks a good bet to be his team’s top scorer.
He hit a solid 31 in the first innings of the last game before a well-measured 76 in the second as wickets continued to fall around him.
His price of 5.0 with 22Bet is far too big after that display.
Madhevere is a Value Option
Wesley Madhevere endured a tough Test debut in the last game when removed for a duck by Hamza Hotak.
However, his ability with the bat has been on show in the white-ball game and he has all the talent to make an impact in the longer format.
Given Zimbabwe tend to lose their openers cheaply, it could be worth backing Madhevere to be his team’s top first innings run-scorer at 8.0 with bet365.
Sean Williams tops the market at 3.0 but the difference in price makes Madhevere a good option when seeking a value wager.
Nyauchi to Shine Again
Seamer Victor Nyauchi showed his potential with the ball in the first test and he looks a decent price to continue his progress in this one.
Backing him to be Zimbabwe’s top bowler at 5.0 with bet365 looks appealing. He teamed up really well with Blessing Muzarabani, who tops this market at 3.6.
Nyauchi should come on for the experience in the first Test and can take more wickets.
