Cricket Betting at TwiceDice

Twicedice do have cricket odds available in India and elsewhere, but they aren’t as easy to find as on some other betting sites. Cricket isn’t given any priority in the menu so you’ll have to scroll down to find the latest bhav.

You can use the star icon to add specific tournaments to your favourites list though. These will then appear at the top of the menu. This is a useful feature and will help navigate to the odds faster once they have been selected.

At the time of writing this TwiceDice review, the following competitions were listed on site:

The range of outright odds for competitions was impressive. Tournaments were listed even though they were months or years away, which is a good sign for the depth of betting available on cricket.

The Choice of Cricket Odds

The range of odds available on cricket was good, but didn’t extend to the levels available elsewhere. That said, if you’re looking to bet on the most popular markets, TwiceDice should have them covered in good detail.

Match winner, total runs, top batsman or bowler were listed for the top-level competitions, which is good to see. Some more exotic options weren’t available, but this shouldn’t be an issue for the majority of bettors.

Number of Markets per Match

The number of markets can vary depending on the competition. Here’s how many were listed for a selection of tournaments and series that were on site:

It’s not unusual to see the less popular competitions having fewer markets available to bet on. This is often the case with many online betting sites, which may only offer match winner odds on some events.

How Do the Cricket Odds Compare?

As well as the choice of markets, it’s important to consider the cricket bhav when betting. The better the odds are, the more your potential returns will be when placing a wager.

To compare how TwiceDice compares to other cricket betting sites, we took a sample match from the CPL between Jamaica Tallawahs and Trinbago Knight Riders. The lower the margin, the better deal for players.

As you can see, TwiceDice wasn’t operating at the lowest margins, but they were competitive enough for this not to be a big issue.

It’s also worth noting that the margins can vary between different competitions, but this snapshot leaves a decent impression overall.

TwiceDice Bonus – Up to ₹11,000

TwiceDice has a valuable welcome bonus for all new Indian customers. It matches a players’ first deposit, up to around ₹11,000. The exact value will depend on the value of DagChip, the token that the company uses for deposits and withdrawals.

It’s one of the higher value amounts available in India, but the rollover requirements are tougher to achieve compared to most cricket betting bonuses.

The 15x rollover requirement relates to both the deposit and the bonus funds, this makes it one of the hardest bonuses to turn over on the market. There is also a maximum bet – currently around 2000 – that can be made with the bonus funds.

The bonus is valid for 30 days, which means active players may want to take on this bonus and meet the key terms and conditions. However, it’s important to be aware of how much turnover is required before signing up for a TwiceDice account.

Quick Summary

TwiceDice has a solid choice of cricket odds to choose from. The selection isn’t as wide as the top betting sites in India, but the major markets are covered, which is a positive sign. The odds are competitive without standing out, which is to be expected from a new betting site getting established in a new region.

Is TwiceDice Safe in India?

In short, yes, TwiceDice is safe to use in India. They are based overseas, which allows them to legally accept Indian players. The parent company is called Future Dynamics OU which is registered in Estonia.

During our TwiceDice review, we found that there is 256-bit encryption in place on their website. This is a good sign as it’s one of the highest levels being used in the industry at the time of writing.

This SSL encryption protects the personal details when they’re being transferred between bookmaker and player. This isn’t a unique feature, it’s one we’d expect to see of any online betting site but it’s still great to see it in place offering a high level of protection.

Licence

TwiceDice operates in India courtesy of an iGaming licence from Curacao, which is considered a safe authority. This means they have to pass certain checks in order to obtain and retain their credentials.

Many betting sites in India hold a licence from the Caribbean island, so this is certainly not something to worry about. However, it’s not viewed as highly as some other licences such as those from the UK Gambling Commission or Malta Gaming Authority.

Only a select few sites hold these licences though, and there is certainly no reason to doubt TwiceDice’s safety here.

TwiceDice Payment Methods

There is a unique situation when it comes to payment methods at TwiceDice. Payments are made using a range of e-wallets, cryptocurrency, or bank transfers, but the site uses a centralised currency.

They use a token system called DagChip on site, which is not something we’ve come across before in the online betting world. It’s not possible to bet directly in INR or other currencies.

This system seems perfectly safe and trusted, there are no concerns there, especially with high-level encryption in place to keep information private.

However, it’s important to familiarise yourself with the process because it’s different from how deposits and withdrawals work at other betting sites in India.

Deposit and Withdrawal Limits in India

Each of the deposit and withdrawal limits is quoted in Dagchip. Here’s how they relate to rupees at the current value.

It’s important to consider the current value of INR against the Euro as this may have an impact on the values.

The minimum deposit at TwiceDice is somewhat higher than many other betting sites, so this may prove an issue for those with smaller bankrolls.

At the time of writing this review, there were no maximum withdrawals in place.

How DagChip Works

Bettors can deposit and withdraw using a range of payment methods at TwiceDice. The choice is relatively good, although a couple of popular methods such as AstroPay, UPI and Paytm aren’t listed at the moment.

Once you make a deposit, the funds are converted into DagChip.

These tokens are equated to 1 per 0.50 Euro. This ensures the value stays relatively stable. At the time of writing this TwiceDice review, this was around 40 INR. There are no fees applied to add money or take it out of your account.

You can then bet as normal, although the stakes are in DagChips, not rupees as you might expect. Everything else about the process remains the same.

It’s important to consider this because you’ll need to be aware of how your stakes relate to the currency you’re most familiar with.

Once you’re ready to withdraw, the process is reversed. You convert your Dagchip tokens back into the currency you want and can withdraw them from your TwiceDice account.

The process is relatively easy, although it may take some bettors time to understand, especially those who are used to betting directly in rupees.

Withdrawal Times

Unfortunately, one of the issues with TwiceDice is the withdrawal times. While some withdrawals could be completed within 30 minutes, which is excellent, others could be up to 14 business days.

It’s not usual to see longer times with newer bookmakers but this is much more than we’d expect to wait at many other betting sites operating in India.

When asked about this, it seemed that all withdrawals were subject to the same variety of waiting times. There wasn’t information about certain methods being quicker than others, which was disappointing.

The customer service team did advise us they wanted to reduce the withdrawal times but were unable to provide further detail on when this might be.

Sports Betting

There was a total of 54 different categories listed with TwiceDice, one of the largest selections we’ve come across. There are odds on everything from soccer and eSports to politics and the Oscars.

The most popular choices on the Indian site were as follows:

• Volleyball

• Ice Hockey

As mentioned above, it would be good to see cricket moved higher on this list. At the moment it’s listed 10th on the sports betting menu which doesn’t equate to how popular it is in the Indian market.

Bet Builder is Available on Certain Sports

Although not listed on cricket matches at the moment, TwiceDice customers do have the chance to build their own multiples on certain sports.

Customers can select multiple outcomes from the same game to create their own single-game accumulators.

As usual, all the individual legs need to win in order for the bet to payout. You can check which events and markets are eligible by looking for the chain link icon in the market name.

Live Betting at TwiceDice

Live betting with TwiceDice was a straightforward experience, it’s easy to select the live odds, add them to your bet slip and place a wager in just a few seconds.

As with pre-event sports betting, the choice of events available on site is excellent. This is definitely a strong point for TwiceDice given their coverage across such a wide range of sports.

Some sports have live match information which can help you decide what to bet on. For example, there is some live scoring for cricket, but not in-depth scorecards or ball-by-ball summaries as you might find elsewhere.

Cash out is Available

Cash out is available on selected sports and markets at TwiceDice. This included many cricket markets, especially on popular tournaments such as the IPL.

You can see which markets are eligible for cash out by looking for the small $ symbol next to the market name. If one is displayed, this means it will be offered for cash out once the event begins.

With live betting growing in popularity, this is a useful tool for bettors to have at their disposal.

Odds Comparison for Other Sports

Cricket betting is the primary focus of our TwiceDice review but it’s also useful to see how they compare to the competition on other sports.

Here’s a selection of high-profile sports events, the number of markets available to bet on, and the margin on the match winner odds.

Overall, the choice of markets was good, which is encouraging. The margins were higher than you’d expect from some other betting sites, although this isn’t unusual with a new betting site.

TwiceDice App

At the moment, there isn’t a dedicated TwiceDice app for Android or iOS. Many betting sites now have these, but perhaps because this is a new brand, one will be developed in the future.

Smartphone or tablet users can still access TwiceDice using the mobile website in their browser though.

The mobile site is fairly easy to use although it might take a little getting used to at first. More importantly, it has the same range of odds and offers available as the desktop site.

It would be great to see TwiceDice add a mobile app, especially for Android users in India. If one is released, we will be sure to update this review accordingly.

Website

The TwiceDice website is quite unique in its design. It uses a dark background with lighter text, which is different to many other betting sites. It’s not easy to see the latest odds right away on the homepage because of the promotions, many of which are focused on the casino.

In terms of features, there is a very useful text search option to help locate events or markets you want to bet on. This makes navigation easier and saves you time.

Adding events to your favourites list will also save time in navigation. You can do this by clicking the star next to the event name and it will be added to the menu automatically.

VIP Program

TwiceDice have a dedicated section to a VIP program called “Elite Club”. Although it’s not clear what is required to gain access into this club.

The scheme operates by invite only, although you can email the team directly if you feel you’re at the level where you’d be eligible. It’s difficult to know about this though, because of the lack of further information.

Benefits to the Elite Club include higher limits on sports bets, VIP bonuses and access to a personal account manager.

Customer Service

There are a few ways to get in contact with TwiceDice, which is encouraging in case you have an issue.

Live chat, email and a detailed FAQ section can all assist you in resolving any problems or getting answers to your questions.

The FAQ section was in-depth and also contained video tutorials on some popular queries, which was a nice touch and should help users through the process.

Live Chat

Firstly, the live chat system operates 24/7. This isn’t always the case with betting sites in India so is a definite positive in TwiceDice’s favour.

However, it’s only available once you’re logged into your account. Some sites offer this function before you’re logged in, which can be very useful in case of questions about registering or claiming a welcome bonus.

When testing the live chat agents, the responses usually came within 5 minutes, which is acceptable but not the fastest we’ve experienced. The agents were helpful and polite in answering our questions.

Summary

TwiceDice are a new name when it comes to online betting in India. They hold a Curacao licence which means they can operate legally in India. There are a good choice of cricket odds to be found, especially on major tournaments. The sports betting margins are acceptable, but definitely not the best in India.

The welcome bonus is a valuable one but comes with strict terms and conditions, which may prove tough for some players to achieve. There is a unique deposit and withdrawal system using a third party that works well, but is more complex than depositing in rupees directly, especially with a relatively high minimum deposit amount.

Overall, TwiceDice is worth considering although they’re not providing an experience above many of the top-rated online betting sites.
