Australia vs New Zealand 2020 – ODI Preview, Latest Odds and Predictions
As well as assessing the series overall here, we will also have detailed match predictions, free betting tips, previews and latest odds available for each of the individual ODIs.
Australia are made the favourites to land the overall series victory. They are priced at 1.44 (4/9) by bet365 to hit back now they are back on home soil. New Zealand can be backed at 2.75 (7/4) to come out on top after three games.
It is hard not to consider a confident New Zealand side for the win after the form they showed against India. It will all come down to if they can transfer those performances away from home, which is something they struggled with in the Test series last year. With that in mind, it is Australia who seem more likely to get the job done back in home comforts. They could be vulnerable early in the series, however, if the Black Caps start strong.
A 3-0 Australia whitewash is priced at 3.40 (12/5), with New Zealand at 12.00 (11/1) to achieve the same scoreline. It could also be worth considering the Black Caps to pinch this 2-1 at 3.20 (11/5).
