• Chetan Sakariya – The young Indian bowler has been a real highlight for the Royals. He has consistency and always seems to find a way to take wickets.
• Eoin Morgan – The England captain hasn’t been able to work his magic at the Knight Riders just yet. He has plenty to work with but also needs a score of his own.
• Andre Russell – The West Indian star looks in fine form this IPL. He is taking wickets and hitting big sixes once again and will be vital to Kolkata’s hopes.
• Dinesh Karthik – Giving up the captaincy to Morgan seems to have released the shackles a little. He has scored some good runs down the order and a late contribution might prove the difference in this one.

It has been a frustrating start to IPL 2021 for these two teams and both are in desperate need of a confidence-boosting success from this clash.

Rajasthan have been hampered by injuries to Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, while Kolkata have struggled to gain any momentum under new skipper Eoin Morgan.

However, the form of Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell puts them in a strong position if one of their top-order batsmen can fire again.
