India v England 4th Test – Betting Tips and Predictions
This looks like another tricky Test for England with India determined to secure their World Test Championship final berth.
Conditions are again likely to trouble the visiting batsmen and how they defend against spin will be vital.
That said, they will be clearly wounded by the last two defeats and could be dangerous as they battle to draw the series.
With India such a short price for the outright win, looking at other markets is the best way of finding value.
India to have Highest Opening Partnership
There is no doubt that Rory Burns and Dom Sibley have struggled this series.
Burns was dropped for the last Test and Sibley managed seven runs in two innings.
Zak Crawley looked more confident with a first-innings half-century but having his fellow opener stay with him is the issue.
Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, has been in superb form for the hosts and Shubman Gill continues to grow in confidence.
India can be backed at 1.85 with 22Bet to have the highest opening partnership in the match.
Pick Patel to Star with the Ball Again
Axar Patel has recovered from injury and performed superbly in the third Test.
He landed the player of the match award on the back of 11 wickets.
He’ll welcome similar conditions in Ahmedabad for this final Test and might even open the bowling again.
Bet on Patel to be the top Indian bowler in the first innings at 3.0 with 1xBet.
They are also offering Ravichandran Ashwin at 2.7 in the same market.
Back Foakes as England’s Top Batsman
England’s batting proved fragile in the third Test, but Ben Foakes looked a bit more assured than most.
He didn’t get a lot of runs last time, but he at least seemed the part during brief stints at the crease.
Foakes is the man for the big occasion and, if England lose quick wickets again, a rearguard will be needed from this steely character.
He is a good longer-odds option at 15.0 with bet365 to be England’s top batsman in the first innings.
