Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will probably look to push himself down the order again.

Piyush Chawla with some spin and Deepak Chahar with seam could be the ones to watch with the ball in particular. That’s if Chawla doesn’t make way for fellow leg-spinner Imran Tahir.

Delhi would like an improved performance in their death bowling, so they can avoid another super-over finish. Kagiso Rabada, again, will be key here.

South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada was prolific for Delhi last season and has impressed at the start of this year’s campaign.

While Dwayne Bravo is out, head coach Stephen Fleming has put his faith and confidence in Sam Curran. The England all-rounder brings that something special to an XI.

His left-arm seamer and late-innings hitting are great assets. All-rounders, too, are more likely to win the players of the match award than specialist batsmen or bowlers.
