England v Pakistan 2020 – Test Series Schedule
The England cricket team are full of confidence after beating the West Indies 2-1 recently. Pakistan have not played Test cricket in six months and could be a bit rusty.
This series will be played across three matches. The first will take place at Old Trafford in Manchester and the final two the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
Old Trafford will host an unprecedented third successive Test for the series opener, after the last two between England and the West Indies were played there.
The action then moves to the Rose Bowl for the final two matches.

England v Pakistan 2020 – Test Squads
England have named an unchanged squad for the first Test, at least – and will likely look to most of the players who carried them to victory over the West Indies in the final XI.
Whether Zak Crawley and Sam Curran return to the XI remains in the balance. Their positions will depend on how heavy England go on a bowling front again, which in turn depends on how much Ben Stokes is going to be used with the ball, if at all.
Mark Wood is an alternative to Chris Woakes or Jofra Archer. Keeping James Anderson in the XI at his home ground seems a must, while Stuart Broad has again made himself undroppable.
Both offer great value in the bowling markets for this series, as does Dom Bess – the only specialist spinner in the squad.

Pakistan have included Wahab Riaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Fawad Alam in an extended squad for this series. Ahmed is no longer the captain, which has been handed to Azhar Ali. Riaz and Alam have not played Test cricket for two and 10 years, respectively.
Riaz and Alam will be important to Pakistan’s quest to beat England. Left-arm seamer Riaz has the right kind of fire needed to succeed in English conditions.
Alam has plenty of experience and could be the man to galvanise the batting order against an inspired opposition bowling attack. The Windies lacked one man to vehemently defy England.
Alam, if not Babar Azam, might be that man for Pakistan, but must get enough support from those around him – Imam-ul-Haq, Asad Shafiq and others.

England and Pakistan’s head-to-head Test match record is reasonably balanced. England have won 25. Pakistan have won 21. They have drawn 37 Tests.
The last time Pakistan were in England for a Test series was in 2018. That series was drawn 1-1. Seamer Mohammad Abbas starred for Pakistan with 10 wickets in two matches then.
Pakistan are priced at long odds of 9.00 by bet365 for a series win. You can get England at 1.22 and a series draw at 7.00.

Top England Batsman
The best cricket betting websites have many overall series markets. We really like the look of the England top batsman here.
Dom Sibley and Ollie Pope are good picks. Both were in solid form against the West Indies. Sibley is priced at 5.50 and Pope 6.00 by bet365 in this market.
Top Pakistan Bowler
The same Indian cricket betting website has Riaz offered at 4.50 to be Pakistan’s top bowler in the first innings. We’re really excited to see what Riaz will achieve upon his Test return.
There is also Yasir Shah at 6.00. England have been relatively untested against good leg-spin of late. Shah has taken a relatively prolific 34 wickets in four Tests in England.
