Australia v India 2020 – T20I Squads

India have brought in T Natarajan after an injury to spinner Varun Chakravarathy.

Natarajan will also cover for RCB pace bowler Navdeep Saini who has a slight back issue and will have to be assessed before the first fixture.

KL Rahul could be shifted up the order but may have to settle for another finisher role with Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan impressing as openers in the recent IPL.

Australia, meanwhile, are without David Warner after he picked up a groin injury in the preceding ODI series.

Pat Cummins will be rested for this series in preparation for the Test series between these two sides.

D’Arcy Short has been called up to replace Warner in the squad. Marcus Stoinis is carrying a side strain but he or Marnus Labuschagne could also open.

India to Edge It with a 2-1 Win

Predicting the exact series score can be a way of getting better odds instead of just picking the overall winner.

This series looks to be a close-run affair once more. At the prices, it is worth considering India to come out on top with a narrow 2-1 win.

That is available at 3.1 with bet365. The most likely outcome according to the bookies is 2-1 to Australia at 2.5.

Zampa to be Australia’s Top Series Bowler

Adam Zampa enjoyed a good IPL alongside Virat Kohli at RCB. He also showed his liking for home conditions in the ODI series before these T20I fixtures, especially when taking four wickets in the first ODI in Sydney.

The fact two of these three T20Is are back at the SCG will give him a good chance of being his team’s leading wicket-taker.

He can be backed at 4.0 with bet365 to secure that honour.
