Batsman Suryakumar Yadav, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna and all-rounder Krunal Pandya have been named in India's squad for this month's ODI series against England.
Pandya and Yadav have played T20I cricket, but are uncapped at ODI level. Krishna has not played international cricket. He has earned inclusion on the back of some solid form for Karnataka at domestic level.
Fellow wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are also in the squad.
Batsman Virat Kohli will captain the team after downplaying an injury sustained during the ongoing T20I series against England.
“I ran for a ball, I dived and I threw it, so I was probably not in the best position. I just moved out to the outfield, earlier I was fielding in the inner ring,” said Kohli. “And the temperature drops pretty quickly, so your body tends to get stiff. So I just aggravated my upper quad a little bit and I didn't want to make it into a niggle or an injury.
“It's nothing serious. I should be fine.”

India and England Stars in the IPL 2021
India and England will play three ODIs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on 23, 26 and 28 March.
Several players involved in this series will participate in the Indian Premier League, which will start on 9 April 2021. Hardik Pandya, brother Krunal, Yadav and batsman Rohit Sharma are part of the Mumbai Indians squad.
Mumbai are the reigning champions and most successful franchise in the history of the IPL. They have five titles.
The Rajasthan Royals were the inaugural IPL champions in 2008. They have not won the tournament since. Their current squad includes several England stars, including all-rounder Ben Stokes, fast bowler Jofra Archer and batsman Jos Buttler.
The Royals bought South African all-rounder Chris Morris at the IPL auction earlier this year. Morris was purchased for a record sum. They no longer have former Australian captain Steven Smith.
