Choose Chennai to Win the IPL 2021
The odds for the Chennai Super Kings to win the IPL 2021 have shortened significantly.
They are now priced at 3.5 with Parimatch to win a fourth title and consolidate their position as the second most successful team in the history of the tournament.
A potential hiccup for their title charge, though, is the return to the UAE. They finished stone last in the IPL 2020, which was hosted in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Betting on Bangalore is a Good Option Too
The Royal Challengers Bangalore were in third position at the time of the suspension.
They had won five matches in seven attempts and have the top wicket-taker overall in Harshal Patel. The seamer can build on his 17 wickets in seven matches so far.
Bangalore are priced at 5.0 to reach a fourth IPL final – and finally win one.

Consider Delhi to Go One Better than 2020
The Delhi Capitals are currently at the top of the IPL 2021 standings, with six wins in eight matches.
They reached the 2020 final in the UAE, but lost to the Mumbai Indians.
The Capitals are priced at 3.75 to go one better this time.
They have two of the top four run-scorers in this season's tournament so far – openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw.
Delhi might not get South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada back for the restart, but local seamer Avesh Khan and spinner Axar Patel are solid.
Take a Longer Shot on Rajasthan
The Rajasthan Royals' chances of winning the IPL 2021 have shortened from 21.0 to 15.0 with Parimatch. These, however, might lengthen if Jos Buttler doesn't return.
The England star struck a maiden IPL century against the Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier this year, but Buttler is in doubt for the remainder of the tournament.
Fellow England players Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes also might not return for the Royals. However, the franchise could still lean on the most expensive signing in IPL history – Chris Morris.
The Proteas all-rounder offers value in the batting and bowling markets.
There's Always Mumbai
The Mumbai Indians are the reigning IPL champions and the most successful team in the history of the competition with five titles.
Their 20201 campaign hasn't enjoyed the best start, with four wins and three losses, but they are renowned for winning when it matters most.
Currently fourth in the standings, Mumbai are priced at 3.75 to pick up a sixth title, even though they no longer have Lasith Malinga – the most proflic bowler in IPL history.
Punjab and Kolkata are Outside Bets
The Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are now offered at 17.0 each to win the title. It would be a first for Punjab and a third for Kolkata.
Neither, though, genuinely look like happening. The Kings have won just three matches in eight attempts. The Knight Riders only have two victories to show for their seven attempts.
What might offer some hope, though, is that Kolkata won the IPL when it was held in the UAE in 2014. And who did they beat in the final? None other than Punjab.
