Rohit Sharma in action for India

The 2021 Indian Premier League will restart on 19 September.

The IPL was suspended earlier this year, amid a spike in coronavirus cases around India.

The tournament will resume in the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi will be the host cities for 31 matches across 27 days.

Dubai will host the final on 15 October.

IPL 2021 Restart Schedule

The Mumbai Indians are the reigning champions and will restart the IPL 2021 against the Chennai Super Kings, who are currently in second position in the tournament standings.

The Delhi Capitals, who lost last year's final to Mumbai, are at the top of the table.
