India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I Preview – Betting Tips, Latest Odds, Team News and Predictions – 10/01/2020

India will look to wrap up the series win over Sri Lanka when the teams clash once more in Pune.

Virat Kohli’s side took a decisive 1-0 lead in the three-game series thanks to a seven-wicket success in Indore on Tuesday. That came after the first T20I between the sides was called off due to poor weather conditions.

Both teams are already well into their preparations for this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia. This fixture will again offer another opportunity for them to build towards that.

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I – Latest Odds

After victory in the second T20I, India are again the short-priced favourites at 1.20 (1/5) with Betway to back that up.

Sri Lanka are available at 4.33 (10/3) with the same bookmaker for anyone who saw enough in the second match to think they can hit back here.

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I – Team News

India have no major injury doubts ahead of the third fixture and do have Jasprit Bumrah back in their ranks after his four-month lay-off.

Bumrah was a little rusty in the second T20 but will be looking to forge ahead now he’s got his first game back under his belt.

The home side are resting both Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami for this series. However, they will have been impressed with how both Shardul Thakur and Navdeep Saini performed in Indore.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka are likely to be without bowler Isuru Udana for this third and final T20.

The left-arm paceman picked up a back injury in the second game on Tuesday.

The visitors missed him in Indore as they failed to prevent India from chasing down 143 for victory.

Sri Lanka welcomed former skipper Angelo Mathews back into the team for this series. They may be tempted to find a place for him for the third fixture.

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I – Betting Tips and Prediction

India put up an impressive showing as they overcame Sri Lanka in the second T20 on Tuesday.

They dominated with both bat and ball to make it 1-0 in the series with just one more game to play.

While they are short-priced favourites to win again, there could be some interesting value to be found in the top team batsman and top team bowler markets.

The Maharashtra Stadium has now hosted many T20I matches in recent years so it’s difficult to look too much into the stats for this one, though there has been a slight favour for the team that bats second.

Shreyas Iyer to build on previous match

Iyer looked in fine form in the second T20 in Indore and wasted no time as he rushed to a 26-ball 34 after coming in at number three.

He was eventually dismissed by Lahira Kumara after he and captain Virat Kohli had all but completed the job for India.

Iyer can build on that showing here and looks the value bet, especially if one of the India openers fails to fire.

He is priced at 5.50 (9/2) with Betway to be India’s top batsman in the third T20I.

Once again, Virat Kohli heads that market at 3.20 (11/5). He is followed by top scorer in Indore KL Rahul at 3.75 (11/4).

Fernando could be the best selection for Sri Lanka

Avishka Fernando was a bright spark at the top of the order for Sri Lanka in the second T20 before his quick cameo was ended by Washington Sundar.

He made 22 in 16 balls before he fell and looks too big in the top Sri Lanka batsman market. He is available at 4.33 (10/3) with Betway to claim that honour.

Yadav to prove his worth in Pune

Kuldeep Yadav enjoyed a good end to 2019 with India and while he was expensive in Indore he still bagged two wickets.

The pitch at Maharashtra can offer assistance to spin and Yadav is ideally placed to take advantage of that.

While Saini and Thakur took the headlines, Yadav remained a threat and can get his rewards in Pune.

He is priced at 3.75 (11/4) with Betway to be India’s top wicket-taker.

Best Bet: Kuldeep Yadav to be India’s top wicket-taker at 3.75 (11/4) with Betway
